Wispworks exists to make good ideas work in the real world. We turn a sketch, a problem, or a gut feeling into hardware you can hold and trust. Quality is built in by design, so what is shipped holds up for you, for customers, on the floor and in the field.
Our Vision
We believe reliability shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for big companies with big teams. Whether you’re an artist setting up a booth or a startup shipping a first product, you deserve engineering that’s considered, durable, and honest about what it can do.
What We Do
We design and build hardware from concept to finished product: modular display systems for convention artists, custom 3D-printed parts and fixtures, and full product development; concept, CAD, prototype, and manufacturable design. Underneath all of it is quality engineering: design for manufacturability, verification and validation, and the documentation that keeps a product reliable at scale.
What We Offer
Two ways to work with us. Buy ready-made display hardware and accessories from the shop, or bring us a project. Projects may be a custom display, a part to model and print, or a prototype to validate. Project work is available pay-as-you-go or as ongoing fractional support, so you get senior engineering help without full-time overhead.
Who We Are
Wispworks was founded by Jonathan Ash, a mechanical engineer and ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience building products where reliability isn’t optional, across automotive safety, medical devices, oil & gas services, and consumer goods. Backed by a trusted network of engineers, designers, and specialists who step in as a project requires, Wispworks brings that same discipline to everything from a single display fixture to a product shipped by the thousand.
